In November 2011, Civmec was awarded a contract through Cameron for the supply, fabrication and assembly of 1 x 6 slot oil manifold, 1 x oil production line end manifold (PLEM) and 17 x goosenecks.
The Coniston Development Project was a subsea oil field development located in the Exmouth Basin offshore North West Australia.
The project involved development of the Coniston and Novara oilfields via a tie-back to subsea infrastructure already in place for the Apache-operated Van Gogh field development. The project also used the floating production, storage and off-loading vessel (FPSO), associated with Van Gogh – the Ningaloo Vision. The Apache-operated project, a joint venture with INPEX, commenced in late 2011.
Civmec’s scope of works included:
- Fabrication of 1 x six slot manifold
- Fabrication of 1 x PLEM
- Fabrication of 17 x goosenecks
- Support and site services through factory acceptance and systems integration testing
