Enabling us to take part in an important local redevelopment, Civmec was awarded a contract for the fabrication of structural steel as part of the Perth Airport Terminal 1 Expansion Project.
The project was the first phase of the major redevelopment of Perth Airport, which will consolidate all commercial air services into one precinct.
Our scope of works included the supply, fabrication and assembly of approximately 2,200 tonnes of fabricated, painted and galvanised architectural steelwork. This included:
- Roof trusses
- Elevated walkways
- Structural steel
- Walkway trestles
Throughout the project, we maintained a peak workforce of approximately 80 personnel.
