At two recent industry award shows, Civmec took home ‘Company of the Year’ along with an award for Civtrac, Civmec’s in-house developed tracking and planning management system.
Subsea Energy Australia (SEA) awarded Civmec ‘Company of the Year’ at a ceremony held in Perth on 18 June 2015. The award recognises outstanding company performance across all aspects of business operations.
Commenting on the accolade, the SEA panel said, “Civmec’s financial performance over the last four years demonstrates a company with vision, enthusiasm and drive. Civmec scored well in all award categories and adhered to industry best practices. SEA is pleased to recognise this home-grown excellence through the ‘Company of the Year’ award.”
Just a week earlier in Singapore, Civmec received the Heavy Civil Construction Award at the Singapore Business Review Listed Companies Awards 2015. These awards celebrate project innovation by listed and international firms.
Civmec received the award in recognition of Civtrac, which utilises bar codes and real-time analysis to track materials from start to finish. The unique system also improves planning and resource allocation while reducing labour and material waste.
Tim Charlton, editor-in-chief and publisher of Singapore Business Review, remarked, “This is a night of winners as we celebrate ground-breaking projects and trailblazing innovations.”
Civmec’s CEO Pat Tallon was delighted with the recent results, which highlight the hard work and dedication of the Civmec team.
