These awards reflect the Group’s success in converting a strong pipeline of opportunities and reinforce Civmec’s strategic focus on continued early-contractor involvement, sustainable growth and order book diversification, whilst underscoring the strength of long-standing relationships with Tier-1 clients.
The A$400 million of new contracts and extensions are expected to be delivered across 2H FY26 and FY27, building upon an uplift in activity heading into 2H FY26.
BHP Port Debottlenecking Project 2
Amongst the newly awarded contracts, Civmec is pleased to announce it has secured a significant contract with BHP for the Port Debottlenecking Project 2 (PDP2) at Nelson Point, Port Hedland. As part of PDP2, Civmec has been awarded the contract to deliver the concrete and earthworks for the installation of a sixth car dumper (CD6) which is also being manufactured by Civmec at its Henderson fabrication facility.
The current scope includes the requirement for earthworks and placement of concrete to accommodate the installation of CD6, as well as general concrete works across the site for new conveyors and transfer stations. Civmec’s responsibilities include establishing a new batch plant to supply concrete, designing and installing new piling for CD6, and managing all temporary works. The scope also encompasses the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of a temporary dewatering and recharge system, bulk excavation to allow for the new car dumper structure, formwork, rebar and placing concrete (FRP) works for CD6 and all conveyor and transfer station footings, including associated works such as shotcrete and waterproofing.
The award of the PDP2 civils package follows the recent award of the steel fabrication package, which consists of ~700t of structural steel modules including one shuttle, four maintenance gates, CD6 enclosure and various other structures, as part of the same package for the greater PDP2 project.

Fortescue Charger Facilities
Civmec has also been awarded a contract for the construction of Light Mobile Equipment and Support Mobile Equipment charger facilities and pit power infrastructure at Fortescue’s Eliwana and Flying Fish mine sites. The scope encompasses construction, installation, verification and commissioning of multiple charger facilities, ranging from prefabricated DC distribution units to integrated AC chargers along with civil works and electrical integration for transportable pit power substations. These substations, designed for modular deployment, will support the rollout of electric excavators and drills, reinforcing Fortescue’s decarbonisation objectives.
