Introduced to coincide with International Women’s Day 2026, the program reflects Civmec’s ongoing commitment to increasing female participation across trade roles.
The 12‑month paid program provides participants with practical training and operational knowledge within Civmec’s Paint and Blast facilities in Henderson.
It is aimed at women interested in exploring a hands-on career, building confidence, technical capability, and industry exposure.
Participants will also complete accredited training that provides recognised credentials and competencies to support long-term career development, including:
• Working at Heights
• Confined Space Entry and Gas Testing
• First Aid and Fire Attack
• Forklift and Elevated Work Platform licences
• Mobile Plant Operations
• Fixed Plant Operations
