Together, these awards lift Civmec’s order book to a new height of $1.5 billion and underscore the ongoing confidence Civmec’s clients place in the Group as a delivery partner of choice for their critical projects, built on a track record of safe, dependable execution.

The new awards span the Group’s resources, infrastructure, energy and maintenance activities and are expected to be delivered across FY27 and FY28.

Iluka Eneabba SMPE&I Package
Civmec has been awarded a further package of work by Iluka Resources at the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery in Western Australia, this time for the structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPE&I) installation works across the facility. The award extends Civmec’s involvement on the project, building on the field-erected tanks and civil concrete works the Group is already delivering on site, as well as the SMPE&I bridging scope currently underway.

Under the new package, Civmec is responsible for the multidisciplinary installation works across the refinery’s major process areas. The scope encompasses extensive off-site fabrication of pipe spools, installation of structural steel modules and platework, pipe supports and pipework, mechanical equipment, electrical and instrumentation and switchroom infrastructure. The scope will support Iluka in commencing commissioning of the refinery from mid CY2027.

The Eneabba refinery is Australia’s first fully integrated facility for the production of separated rare earth oxides, positioning Western Australia as a strategic hub for the downstream processing of rare earths and supporting efforts to diversify global supply chains.

Perth Park
Civmec is pleased to advise that the Alliance comprising Civmec, Seymour Whyte and Aurecon has been awarded the major construction contract for Perth Park, Western Australia’s premier entertainment and sporting precinct on the Burswood Peninsula. The award progresses the project from the planning and design phase into construction delivery, with the precinct expected to be substantially complete in late 2027.

Civmec has recognised only its portion of the participating interest in the Alliance Contract, the value of which was recognised within the Group’s order book value announced on 15 May 2026.

Delivered under an alliance contract model, the project adds to Civmec’s portfolio of major iconic public infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

Other projects and opportunity updates
Consistent with Civmec’s focus on maintenance services as a pillar of growth, and its investment in establishing facilities in Port Hedland and Gladstone to service the needs of maintenance clients, Civmec has recently secured a number of new awards, panel agreement extensions and new orders across its maintenance portfolio, increasing utilisation at its permanent regional facilities. The Group has also secured packages of work from long-term clients across the lithium, rare earths, critical minerals, iron ore, coal, alumina and hydrocarbons commodities, as well as manufacturing work to be delivered from its Newcastle facility. Civmec has increased its involvement in ongoing and new early-contractor involvement (ECI) activities across a variety of commodities and geographic locations, positioning the business to secure future tender opportunities as they come to market.
