Employee of the Year
Greg Hellmrich, Civil Construction Manager, has been named Civmec’s Employee of the Year 2025 for his significant contribution to the Eneabba project.
Greg plays a key role in maintaining safe, efficient and collaborative site operations. His well-prepared and engaging pre-start meetings ensure teams are informed and aligned, with a strong focus on safety and communication. His leadership approach supports productivity while fostering a positive and respectful team environment.
In recognition of his achievement, Civmec CEO Pat Tallon and Operations Manager – West Coast, David Power, visited the Eneabba site to present the award in person.
Greg’s commitment to high standards and his consistent, people-focused leadership continue to have a positive impact on both project outcomes and team performance.
Team of the Year
The Team of the Year 2025 award was presented to Trudy Parkinson, Project Controls Manager, and Peter Macpherson, Scheduler, in recognition of their combined efforts on Civmec’s Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) project.
Through close collaboration, Trudy and Peter delivered a comprehensive, high-quality and fully resourced program within a challenging timeframe. Their disciplined and methodical approach provided clarity and structure to a complex project, supporting effective planning and delivery.
The award was presented by General Manager – Defence, Mark Clay, who commended the team for their professionalism, technical capability and strong alignment with Civmec’s core values.
