The event took place at Perth’s Optus Stadium, where participants braved a long, cold June night to raise funds and awareness for homelessness.
Civmec’s team raised an impressive $120,615, securing the top spot in Western Australia and ranking fourth nationally. Civmec CEO Pat Tallon emerged as Western Australia’s highest individual fundraiser, collecting $95,671 and ranking seventh in the country. HSE Manager Danielle Pukeroa raised $16,542, while Marketing Manager Pat Connell raised $8,401.
On the night, participants listened to inspiring speeches, including stories of individuals who turned their lives around after experiencing homelessness. All funds raised will support Vinnies’ efforts to provide services for homeless people in the community, while also raising crucial awareness about the issue.
Civmec extends a huge thank you to colleagues, friends, suppliers, subcontractors and community members for their invaluable support. Their contributions were instrumental in achieving the company’s goal to make a difference.
Civmec remains committed to addressing homelessness and inspiring others to join the cause, using their participation in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout as a catalyst for positive change.
