Continuing to build expertise in our key areas of operation and diversifying into new markets provides ongoing opportunities to attract and retain the best available talent. Our core value of Collaboration means we work in partnership with our people to identify their individual training and development needs, delivered through our in-house Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Our commitment to supporting the future of our industry is reflected in our engagement of apprentices and trainees across the spectrum of our operations, including fabrication (boilermakers and welders), carpenters, electrical, business administration, human resources and logistics. Last financial year, Civmec created local employment for more than 2,800 people. This included 67 apprentices/pre-apprentices, 56 graduates/undergraduates and 10 trainees.
Our value of Make a Difference empowers our people to positively impact the communities in which we live and work. Our community support program has seen us work with numerous charities and community groups, and we encourage employees to participate and contribute to these events and initiatives.
We are committed to providing sustainable career pathways so our people can grow with us.
