Our significant specialist expertise was employed to undertake the steel fabrication, painting and transportation of the bridge’s arches and decks, working collaboratively with the delivery partners to enable the bridge to be completed within an extremely challenging delivery timeframe.
The Alliance maximised Australian steel supply to 100% of available capacity and utilised many local fabricators and various other associated subcontractors.
Civmec received the Civil Contractors Federation WA Earth Award for Excellence in Civil Construction for the project in August 2019.
The bridge now gives pedestrians direct access across the Swan River to Perth Stadium, another of Civmec’s iconic Infrastructure projects.
